State Senator David Argall (R-29) and Representative Jerry Knowles (R-124) presented members of the Tamaqua Area girls basketball team congratulatory citations for their 2009-10 season. The legislators made their respective presentations Friday afternoon at the annual spring sports assembly in the high school gymnasium. The Lady Raiders finished with a 25-3 record and were Schuylkill League and District 11 Class AA champions. Participating in the presentations were, kneeling from left, Christine Streisel, Allison Updike, Shelby Hankins, Ashley Walker, Caitlin Trainer and Kayla Hope.
