A vehicle and other items were stolen from a property in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said unknown persons entered the property along Effot Neola Road, in Chestnuthill Township, and broke two pad locks off the front garage door and removed several Chilton's repair manuals, 15-inch tires on aluminum wheels and car radiators. They also attempted to enter the garage through a side door and damaged several fluorescent lights inside.

Troopers said a corn shed on the property was entered and a 1978 Cadillac sedan, white with a red driver's door, parked inside taken along with a car trailer, green in color, that was located in a field towards the rear of the property were taken. Also two toolboxes and two chain saws that were stored in a pickup truck were taken. The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 11 and 25, troopers said.
