Two people have been cited by Tamaqua Police following a Thursday evening fight.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 37 Schuylkill Ave., at 8:56 p.m., for a reported fight involving two females and one male. At the scene, they found Michael Lewis, Angela Zehner and Mary Ellen Daly.According to the incident report, Zehner and Daly were arguing. Lewis came to Daly's defense and the arguement escalated between Lewis and Zehner.Lewis suffered an injury to his left eye and was transported to St. Luke's Miner's Memorial Hospital, Coaldale, for treatment. He was later cited for disorderly conduct and public druinkenness.Zehner was transported to the Tamaqua Police Station, where she was also cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
