James E. Marconis Jr., 21, of Pottsville, will be charged by state police at the Schuyulkill Haven barracks with aggravated assault and robbery as a result of an incident on Thursday at 4:25 p.m. at the Rite Aid Drug Store, Norweigan Township, Schuylkill County.

Police said it is elleged he entered the store and removed two cans of computer aerosal spray and inhaled the product. During the crime, he was observed by William Devers, 54, of Drums, who attempted to confront the accuswed, at which time Marconis assaulted him, kicking and punching him numerous times in the head, chest and back. Marconis fled on foot in an unknown direction.
