Drug sweep nets seven alleged drug dealers

A drug sweep early Tuesday morning by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force and assisted by local police and the county's sheriff and probation offices netted seven street level drug dealers in the Pottsville and two neaerby boroughs, it was revealed by District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon with oversaw the action.

The officers left the district attorney's office around 6 a.m. and moved into the three communities and apprehended the drug dealers and had them arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James R. Ferrier of Orwigsburg.After a preliminary arraignment charges were entered and bail set on the following:Chelsea Ciccianti, Pottsville, delivery of suboxone, $10,000 straight cash bail; Cory Clocker, Schuylkill Haven, delivery of heroin, $5,000 straight cash bail; Chad Jacoby, Pottsville, delivery of heroin, $5,000 staight cash bail; Kyle Simpson, Pottsville, delivery of heroin, $5,000 straight cash bail; Matthew Yulick, Schuylkill Haven, delivery of marijuana, $5,000 straight cash bail; William Walters, Schuylkill Haven, delivery of methamphetamine, $5,000 straight cash bail; and Matthew Bagdanovich, Frackville, delivery of mnarijuana, $25,000 straight cash bail.The task force was assisted Sheriff Joseph G. Groody and his deputies, adult probation officers, and police from Pottsville and Schuylkill Haven.
