A Lackawanna County woman is facing a charge of aggravated assault for an incident that occurred about 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the northeast end of Wiggan St., in New Philadelphia, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Tori Wilson, 28, had a verbal argument with Bly Salm, 32, of New Philadelphia. During the argument Wilson backed up her car in an attempt to strike Salm. Salm jumped out of the way with the car striking a parking post.
