Allegheny County man wanted

An Allegheny County man is being sought for an incident in Schuylkill County, and also has other pending charges against him.

State police at Frackville said about 2:21 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, troopers observed a 2007 Pontiac G6 with West Virginia temp-tag on it northbound on SR209 in Port Carbon without its headlights on. Troopers followed the car as it turned onto Washington Street, at which time the driver turned the headlights on and then immediately turned them off, as he pulled into a lot at the Goodwill Fire Company. The driver then fled on foot.Troopers attempted to apprehend the driver but were unsuccessful. The driver was later identified as Harry Baney, 28, of McKeesport, but who is known to frequent the Frackville and Ashland areas. It was also learned that Baney has active warrants out for his arrest on additional charges. Troopers have filed fleeing and eluding and other charges against Baney and are seeking his whereabouts.
