State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident whereby a 7-year-old boy smashed three window panes out of the garage at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Ringtown.

The incident happened between 9 p.m. March 13 and 8 a.m. March 17 at the church property, located at 84 E. Main St.Police said church officials did not want to pursue charges against the boy, whose parents agreed to pay for the damages to the windows.
