LV writers group

Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group (GLVWG) will gather at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Palmer Township Library, 1 Weller Place, Easton.

The monthly meeting will feature two workshops.In the morning session, which runs from 11 a.m. until noon and is free to everyone, editors Tina Gallagher and Pattie Giordani will demonstrate the dos and don'ts of agent/editor appointment etiquette and the elements of a winning pitch. Examples will be analyzed.The afternoon workshop, which runs from 1:30-3:30, is free to members, but there is a charge for nonmembers. Gallagher and Giordani will briefly review agent/editor appointment etiquette and the elements of a winning pitch.Workshop attendees will have a chance to practice their pitches and get hands-on help tailored to their needs.Gallagher works as a freelance editor for a small press. She is also multi-published in both romance fiction and article length non-fiction.She has spoken at writers' meetings and conferences on various topics including, marketing, pitching, and treating your writing like a business.
