Baby, it was cold outside, but there was a lot of warmth inside the many hearts at the tree lighting ceremony at Pleasant Valley Elementary School. Those who wished to make a handmade ornament could do so first inside the school and were treated to Christmas goodies. They were given the opportunity to hang their ornaments on the tree as they waited for Santa Claus to arrive. With Santa Claus, PVE principal Joshua Krebs plugged in the lights and everyone sang "Jingle Bells" and other carols around the tree for a festive beginning to the holiday season.
