CCD classes for students who attend Tamaqua area Catholic churches will begin at 8:55 a.m. on Sept. 8. St. Jerome's Religious Education Director Jane Habel reminds parents of CCD students of a parent meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m. today, in St. Jerome's Church, Tamaqua.

Classes are offered to students in grades 1 through eight who are members of St. Jerome's or SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Churches. Families with returning students must provide an updated family information form. New students must provide a birth certificate, a Baptismal certificate and proof of active parish membership.Those unable to attend the parent session may contact Mrs. Habel at 570-668-1211, stop by the office at 250 W.
