Organizations come together during community cleanup

About 3 dozen volunteers with a number of local community-minded organizations came together in Tamaqua to pick up trash during

S.K.I.P. (Schuylkill Keep It Pretty) day held over the weekend. Some o rganizations involved were volunteers from

S.K.I.P., Tamaqua Safety Initiative (T.S.I.), Tamaqua Community Arts Center (T.C.A.C.), Tamaqua Area Community Partnership (T.A.C.P.), Tamaqua Boy Scouts, Tamaqua Girl Scouts and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (L.I.S.C.). About 3 dozen garbage bags were filled with garbage during the cleanup.
