Staff, student volunteers and family members with PathStone Child and Family Development Services in Coaldale held their bi-annual family fun Wednesday at the center.

The event involved family members interacting with their children during a number of activities encouraging family engagement through spring activities and healthy living. Some activities included planting seeds, making bird feeders, clothes pin crafts and a presentation and display about healthy and safety.

Students also took part in a military-style exercise session taught by a local veteran. PathStone, which offers both Early Headstart and PreK Counts, is a non-profit organization. Co-coordinators Jeanette Triano-Sinn, center administrator, and Tara Stauffenburg, education coordinator, stated the center's appreciation to all who helped during the event.
