A Freeland woman has been charged by McAdoo police after she allegedly kicked in the door of a former boyfriend's home and removed the victim's dog.

Jessica Lynn Wansik of 238 Maple St., allegedly went to her ex-boyfriend's home at approximately 5:20 a.m. on Oct. 25. She then proceeded to kick in the door, enter the home and remove a dog. She then called the victim and left him a voice mail telling him she had his dog.With the help of Freeland police the dog was returned to its rightful owner.Wansik was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, and loitering and prowling at night.
