Pocono-Lehigh Romance Writers (PLRW) will meet at 10 a.m., June 9 at the Palmer Township branch of the Easton Area Public Library, 1 Weller Place, Palmer Township.

The meeting will feature author Stephanie Julian, who will speak on the "Art of the Romantic Novella/Writing the Long-Running Series, or how to tell a continuing story in 50,000 words or less."

Even if a writer uses only half the words of a full-length book, readers still want a complete story. Find out what elements you need to include in your novella to make it a satisfying experience and how to continue the story through several installments.

Julian is the author of the Forgotten Goddesses, Magical Seduction, Lucani Lovers, The Fringe and Darkly Enchanted series. A former reporter for a daily newspaper, she enjoys making up stories much more than writing about real life.

The Pocono/Lehigh Romance Writers group, a chapter of Romance Writers of America, is dedicated to promoting excellence in fiction writing by providing continuous support to its members.
