Members and advisors with the St. Jerome's Catholic Church youth group in Tamaqua held their annual wrapping party to help the less fortunate over theholidays. 80 recipients,newborn to 16, from both Schuylkill and Carbon County benefited from the youth group's collection drive. The group also collected over 90 new and used coats for the Tamaqua Salvation Army's annual winter clothing drive. Youth group members, along with advisor Mary Ann Slivka, stated their appreciation to everyone who stepped forward to donate or help. Also volunteering were Jeanette Triano, Carmel Castagna, Jen Ruch and Carmela Gentile. Working together to wrap presents are Nicki Mateyak, left, and Nikki Slivka.
