Pocono Mountain Regional police have planned a fund raising project to help the department provide continued safety and service to the public. The money raised in the project will help fund the K-9 program, National Night Out event, Mountain Bike Patrol Unit, Community Service programs, and technology upgrades for the department.

The third annaul fundraiser will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Pinecrest Golf Club. The day begins with the "Catch the K9" event, 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. with a 7 a.m. registration.Lunch and registration for the annual golf tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.
