The 90th West End Fair, Gilbert, announces that it will host the Hershey Cocoa Classic Cake contest; the Hershey Cocoa Classic Cookie, Brownie and Bar contest; Blue Ribbon Apple Pie contest; and Angel Food Cake contest.

It can have a variety of fillings but must include at least 60 percent apples in the filling.The entire list of rules/judging criteria can be found on page 67 of the premium book.The Seventh Annual Angel Food Cake Contest consists of two types of cakes, butter and foam (egg-leavened). Angel food is the classic example of a foam cake and is 100 percent fat-free.This contest is sponsored by the Pennsylvania's Egg Farmers and the State Association of County Fairs.
