The Borough of Tamaqua has announced its snow removal schedule for Friday and Monday.

Friday, Feb. 4,starting at 12:01 a.m.Broad Street - south side from the railroad tracks at Patterson Street east to Stone Garden.Berwick Street - both sides from Broad Street to Hegarty Avenue.Nescopec Street - both sides from Cottage Avenue to Hegarty Avenue.Monday, Feb. 7starting at 12:01 a.m.Broad Street - north side from the railroad tracks at Patterson Street east to Stone Garden.Swatara Street - both sides from the iron steps to Lafayette Street.South Lehigh Street - from Broad Street south to Cottage Avenue.All vehicles must be moved from the posted streets. Vehicles that remain on the posted streets will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.Snow removal will continue as needed, and residents will receive notice of additional streets that will be cleared.This schedule is subject to change, depending on weather conditions.
