Summit Hill arrests reported

Summit Hill police charged Christopher Pelo, 23, of 145 W. White Bear Drive, at 1:53 a.m. June 4, following a traffic stop on Market and White streets.

Police observed Pelo failing to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and after investigation, charged him with two counts of influence (DUI) of alcohol and failure to stop at a stop sign.Summit Hill police also charged Lisa Rimsky, 40, and her husband, John, 42, both of 107 W. Holland St., Summit Hill.Police said they got into a confrontation with their neighbor. Lisa was charged with harassment and John was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.Also charged by police was Lawrence Mustacchio, 52, of 39 W. Walter St. At 12:21 p.m. July 4, police were making traffic checks and observed Mustacchio failing to stop at a posted stop sign. They found that Mustacchio did not have a driver's license and had the wrong plates on the vehicle.Police said Mustacchio was cited for not having a driver's license, stop sign violation and for having the wrong plates on the vehicle.Police charged Ian Curtis, 24, of 246 Allen St., Lehighton, for an incident that took place at 2:44 a.m. on June 28. Police received a call of someone burning on West Mountaintop Road. Police found the defendant burning copper wire. He was charged under the borough ordinance for the burning ordinance burning regulations.Police also charged Mark Kulick, 49, of 118 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, for an incident that took place at 2:58 p.m. on July 28. Police said they were called to the 100 block of West Fell Street for a highly intoxicated person who was annoying people in the area.Kulick was charged with public drunkenness.
