October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Blue Mountain Health Systems is planning its ninth annual Ladies Night Out dinner and program on Oct. 19 at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall, 10th Street, Jim Thorpe.

While the dinner and program are free, participants are asked to register by calling (610) 377-7070.Information, educational handouts and door prizes will be available.Doors will open at 3 p.m. for the Breast Cancer Awareness Marketplace. The dinner will begin at 5 p.m.Everyone attending is encouraged to wear pink.
