A Nesquehoning man is charged after he took a person's car and was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Summit Hill.

According to borough police on June 3 police received a report of a hit-and-run in the borough. An investigation revealed that a person from Nesquehoning had hit a vehicle in Summit Hill and then parked the vehicle in Nesquehoning.Police said that the owner of the vehicle was unaware that her car was used without her permission by Jaden Diacheysn, 22, of 24. N. Allen St., and involved in a hit-and-run accident two towns away. She reported that someone had hit her vehicle while it was parked in Nesquehoning.Diacheysn was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, accidents involving unattended vehicle or property, immediate notice of accident to police, drivers required to be licensed and careless driving.
