State Police in Frackville arrested a Schuylkill County man for driving under the influence Monday, July 5.

Christopher Timko, of Lost Creek, was stopped for speeding when an officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, as well as other visible signs of intoxication. Timko failed field sobreity tests and was later transported to the Frackville Barracks, where an intoxication test yieled a BAC higher than .08 percent.Police are charging Timko with driving under the influence and violating a posted speed limit.
