William Hill, Jr. has been appointed by the Lehighton School District to fulfill the unexpired three-year term of a former delegate to the Carbon Career & Technical Institutes Joint Operating Council. The former delegate, Frank Ruch, left the board but his term will not expire until December of 2011.

The JOC voted to acknowledge receipt of the Letter of Appointment from Lehighton during its normal monthly meeting on Thursday evening.Andrew Yenser was appointed by Lehighton to be an alternate member of the council for a one-year term ending in December 2010.
