On Thursday, March 25, the Palmerton Camera Club saluted the winners of its 63rd annual salon.

A total 94 prints were entered in three categories – color, creative, and monochrome. Twenty-one members participated.

The club has held a juried salon for its members since its founding in 1947.

This year's salon was judged by a retired photographer from the Palmerton area. At the meeting each print was displayed and the photographers gave brief comments about them. The judge's comments were read as well.

The winners received a certificate of merit award. First place winners also received a 1 gig flash drive engraved with "Congratulations, Palmerton Camera Club."

The members themselves voted on the photograph they thought was best, giving that print the People's Choice Award.

The winners of Color prints were: Susan Page, "Manhattan Bridge", first place; Donna Laviola, "Cold", second place; Connie Reinhart, "Ladle", third place; Richard Wall, "Seward Harbor", H.M.; Don Bonett, "Sharing", H.M.; Peggy Wall, "Chiswell Islands", H.M.
