Weddings

The Stroudsmoor Country Inn, Stroudsburg, was the setting for the July 7, 2012 wedding of Courtney M. Wehr and Ryan M. O'Donnell.

Pastor James Dean officiated the double ring ceremony. The Pennsylvania String Ensemble provided the musical selections.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Robin Wehr of Andreas.

The bridegroom is the son of Walter and Diane O'Donnell, Jr. of New Ringgold.

Janet M. Davis, daughter of James and Maria Davis, Hazleton, became the bride of Gregory J. Sniscak Jr., son of Gregory and Diane Sniscak, Nesquehoning, on July 18, 2009 at St. John's Methodist Church in Hazleton. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Neal Smith. Ruth Hughes was the organist.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose Cherie Davis, Westampton, N.J., as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Diane Zecker and Carmen Masias, both of Hazleton. The flower girl was Chelsea Davis of Westampton.

The engagement of Rachel Holly, daughter of Valerie (Holly) Baber of New Tripoli, and Patrick Leaver, son of Michael and Tammy Leaver of Lehighton, has been announced by their families.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Edward and Anna Marie (Balukonis) Holly of Freeland. She is a 2012 graduate of Parkland High School in Allentown, and is currently attending East Stroudsburg University in the honors college where she is seeking a bachelor of arts degree in art and design.

She is employed as a customer service representative at the TIMES NEWS, LLC in Lehighton.
