Mr. and Mrs. John Blum of Haddon Heights, N.J. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hager of Moosic, Pa. have announced the engagement of their children, Ellen Elizabeth Blum to Matthew David Hager.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Haddon Heights High School and Moravian College in Bethlehem.

She earned her degree in business management and is the director of Consumer Media at WebMD in New York City.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Palmerton High School and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.

Kim and John Szacska of Lehighton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Steigerwalt, to Sjaun Lobdell, son of Eugene and Patricia Lobdell of Deposit, N.Y.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Moravian College. She currently teaches seventh grade math at Nazareth Area Middle School.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College and currently works as an IT professional at the Linde Group.
