Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lupcho

Lisa Armano, daughter of John and Lorraine Armano of North Andover, Massachusetts, and Paul L. Lupcho of Northampton, son of Paul and Malinda Lupcho of Palmerton, were united in marriage on Oct. 18, 2014, at St. Michael Parish in North Andover.

The Rev. Kevin Deeley officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Kristin Tedesco of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, to be her maid of honor.

Bridesmaids included Carrie Leary of North Andover, and Jennifer Fernandez of Pottstown.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gary andKathleen Murtoff of Carlisle.

She is currently employed at Magnetics in Pittsburgh.

The engagement of Lauren Davison of Pottstown, formerly of Summit Hill, and Tim Pressede also of Pottstown, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Darlene Hentosh of Nesquehoning, and Christopher Davison of Orwigsburg.

She is a 2004 graduate of Marian Catholic School. She earned a bachelor's degree in rehabilitative services at East Stroudsburg University in 2008. In 2012 she earned her master's degree in psychology from University of Phoenix. In 2013 she graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with her ABA graduate degree.

Donald Bloom

Donald Bloom of Lehighton is celebrating his 85th birthday. He was born Feb. 16, 1930. He is the son of the late George and Mabel Bloom.

He is married to Perma Evert Bloom. They will celebrate their 65th anniversary this year. He has two daughters: Cindy Tobias of Jim Thorpe and Sandra Koch of Palmerton

He has six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Donald celebrated his special day with his family.

Mildred Mayher

Mildred Mayher, a resident of Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, is celebrating her 90th birthday.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1925.

Millie is a graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was married to her late husband, Boris Mayher, for 39 years.

She retired from the American Chain and Cable Company in Wilkes-Barre. She is an active member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Miners Mills.
