Mr. and Mrs. Louis Paul

Mary Lou and Louis Paul of Nesquehoning recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 5, 1985 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, by the late Rev. Paul Welkie.

Mrs. Paul is the daughter of the late Gene and Georgine (Coniglio) Kennedy, formerly of Nesquehoning.

Mr. Paul is the son of Louise (Vitek) Paul-Solomon, Lansford, and the late Michael Paul. He is also the stepson of the late Andrew Solomon.

Marlin and Antionette "Dolly" Schuetrumpf

Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Schuetrumpf of Tamaqua celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently.

They were married on Nov. 24, 1960 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Summit Hill, by the late Rev. Msgr. J. Francis Haley.

Mrs. Schuetrumpf is the former Antionette "Dolly" Cusanelli, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Cusanelli of Summit Hill.

Mr. Schuetrumpf is the son of the late Elmer and Agnes Schuetrumpf. He is retired from Sonaco of Reading.

The couple has one son, David of Tamaqua, and two grandchildren, Amber and Cory Schuetrumpf.

Jeanine Burdick and Lance Edmonds

The engagement of Jeanine Burdick of Hometown, to Lance Edmonds, also of Hometown, has been announced by the couple's parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Patricia Burdick of Lansford. She is a 2000 graduate of Panther Valley High School. She is a certified nursing assistant and is employed at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale.

Hailey Lynn George

A daughter, Hailey Lynn George, was born at 1:50 a.m. on Oct. 22, 2010 at St. Luke's, Allentown, to Kristie and Matthew George of Lehighton. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 21.5 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her big brother, Mason, 3.

Maternal grandparents are Debbie and Dennis Green of Palmerton. Maternal great-grandparents are William and Betty Green of Palmerton and the late Mildred Kochen.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Miller Jr.

Amy Tristan Zubek, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Zubek of Summit Hill, became the bride of Robert Joseph Miller Jr., the son of Robert and Bonnie Miller of Tamaqua, on Aug. 21, 2010, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Summit Hill. The Rev. James Burdess officiated the double ring ceremony. Thomas McCall was the vocalist and Sally Ann Derby was the organist.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward T. Marzen

Edward T. and Helen C. Marzen of Lehighton are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today. They were married on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, 1950 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jim Thorpe by the Rev. John Engler.

Attendants for the couple were George Marzen, David Roos, Connie Burkowski Santoni and Caroline Roos Reichert.

Mrs. Marzen is the daughter of the late Hugo and Caroline Roos of Jim Thorpe. Her husband is the son of the late John and Amelia Marzen, also of Jim Thorpe.

A son, Chase Aaron Sebelin, was born on Nov. 1, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital to Terri and Aaron Sebelin of Palmerton. He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 20 inches long.

The new baby was welcomed home by his older siblings: Garrett, 11; Kyle, 6; and Justin, 5.

Maternal grandparents are Tom and Annette Wargo of Palmerton.

Paternal grandparents are Joe and Karen Sebelin of Jim Thorpe.

Autumn Rothermel and Norman Frey III

ºThe engagement of Autumn Rothermel, Weatherly, to Norman Frey III, Lehighton, has been announced by their parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Anita and Kirk Wescoe of Lehighton. She is a graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College and is employed as a nurse by Blue Mountain Health System.

The prospective bridegroom holds a bachelor of arts in business management from DeSales University. He is employed by Ryder Trucks.

The couple is planning a wedding for fall of 2012.

Mr. and Mrs. David Eickhoff

Mr. and Mrs. David Eickhoff recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 4, 1960 by the late Justice of The Peace Edward Lewis of Lehighton, who performed the ceremony in his office.

Mrs. Eickhoff is the former Thelma Wernett, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wernett Sr., Lehighton, and formerly of New Jersey.

Mr. Eickhoff is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Eickhoff, Lehighton.
