The correct name is Marlene Moyer Lefebvre.

Jim Thorpe's Fall Foliage Festival has been evolving, and over the past three years, its current vendor coordinator, Mari Gruber, has guided its evolution toward greater support for her great love American art crafters.

Because of the interest by the Reading & Northern to bring Fall Foliage excursions to Jim Thorpe, the town's 2011 Fall Foliage Festival has been expanded to four weekends. The first three weekends will be focused on crafts, music and food, and the last weekend will focus on the community arts, shops and nonprofits.

Mr. and Mrs. James W. Beers

Mr. and Mrs. James W. Beers of Schnecksville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.

They were married Oct. 7, 1961 at St. Peter's Church, Mantzville, by the Rev. Arthur Klinetop.

Mrs. Beers is the former Carol L. Frey, daughter of Helen and Ralph Frey, Lehighton. Her husband is the son of the late Stanford and Eurena Beers, Palmerton.

They have three children: Sherry Penrod, Orefield; Sheila Nagle, New Tripoli; and Jeff Beers, Fogelsville; and six grandchildren: Brianna and Brooke Penrod, Brad and Trisha Nagle, and Camryn and Nicholas Beers.

Reagan Margaret LeClair

A daughter, Reagan Margaret LeClair, was born to Christine and Gregory LeClair of Harrogate, England, at 4:29 p.m., on Aug. 31, 2011, at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital in Lehighton. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 7.5 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.

She was welcomed home by a big brother, Jack, 20 months.

Maternal grandparents are Art and Mary Williams of Lansford.

Paternal grandparents are Michael and Jane LeClair of Rochester, N.Y.

Andrew Wallace Miller

A son, Andrew Wallace Miller, was born to Rebecca and Philip Miller of Nesquehoning, at 1:16 p.m., on June 28, 2011, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Ricky and Vicki Brown of Lehighton.

Paternal grandparents are David and Dee Miller of Palmerton.

 Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club hosted the fifth annual Pink Light Walk in Lehighton on Tuesday night. Approximately 300 people walked for breast cancer awareness.

Breast cancer survivors and their supporters walked in Lehighton on Tuesday night to promote breast cancer awareness during the fifth annual Pink Light Walk. The event was hosted by the Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club.
