Traffic in the southbound lanes of the PA turnpike is at a snail's pace as the turnpike commission reports a road obstruction somewhere between the Mahoning and Lehigh Valley exits. Traffic is backed up for miles as motorists return from their national holiday.
Richard Kennedy, 30, of Tamaqua, has been cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on Claremont Avenue in Hometown. Kennedy was stopped by Rush Township Police at 9:32 a.m. on May 13.
