LV Master gardener programs set

Learn which bugs are naughty or nice at "Good Bugs, Bad Bugs Children's Workshop," a free event for kids, from 10 to 11 a.m. June 11 at the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem. Registration is required.

A program on "Fairy Gardens" will take place from 9 a.m. to noon June 11 in Nazareth. It will be a morning of miniature gardening with fairies, gnomes and other wee creatures. You will learn about some of the many type of fairies and wee people and be guided through the process of designing, building and maintaining your garden. Workshop costs $25. Registration is required.Celebrate our pollinators at 6 p.m. June 21 during National Pollinator Week at the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem. Tour the garden and learn about Penn State's Citizen Scientist Bee Monitoring Program. There will also be children's activities and light refreshments.Learn about the life cycle of the butterfly and what to do to attract them into our gardens at the "Butterflies Children's Workshop," a free children's workshop at the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem from 10 to 11 a.m. July 23.
