A Columbia County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Walter E. Ridall Jr., 54, of Bloomsburg, was stopped about 12:48 a.m. along Route 54 in Mahanoy City. Ridall was found to be under the influence and was taken to a Pottsville hospital for a blood test. Troopers said charges will be filed.
