Lehighton Area Pool Pals plans to host several fundraising events.

The first is the Cabin Fever Dance, an annual event sponsored by the Pool Pals will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Orioles.On April 25, the annual yard sale/basket raffle is at 9:30 a.m. at the Lehighton Recreation Center.Opening day for the Baer Memorial Swimming Pool is May 23 with free admission.The LAPP wants to thank all those who have supported their fundraising ventures over the years, and invite anyone who would like to join them when they meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. on the second floor of borough hall.
