Franklin Township advanced to the District 4 13-15 Babe Ruth winner's bracket final after rallying past Valley.

In other baseball action, the Franklin Township Shockers posted three recent wins in Keystone Senior Babe Ruth play.DISTRICT 413-15TOURNAMENTFranklin Twp.-ValleyJonny Herman's RBI hit in the seventh inning lifted Franklin Township to a 4-3 walk-off win over Valley Monday night.The victory lifts FT into the winner's bracket final, where it will face Wayne County on Wednesday.Franklin trailed twice in the contest before rallying both times. Down 2-0 in the home sixth, Zach Crum's two-run single tied the score.After Valley went ahead with a run in the top of the seventh, FT pushed across two runs in the bottom half. Nick Rosahac started the comeback with a walk and eventually scored the tying run. Singles by Frank Bokan and Justin Marykwas and a walk to Collin Haupt set the stage for Herman's game-winner.Bokan earned the pitching win and also finished with two hits. Haupt and Herman also had a pair of hits for Franklin Township.KEYSTONE SENIOR BABE RUTHFT Shockers-FT HurricanesBrody Hydro had four hits, three RBIs, and scored three times to lead the Franklin Shockers to an 11-4 victory over the Franklin Hurricanes Sunday.The Shockers pounded out 14 hits in the contest.KJ Snerr, Ben Cordova and Brady Niehoff each finished the game with two hits and an RBI. Snerr added two runs and an RBI while Niehoff tossed the first four innings to earn the pitching win.For the Hurricanes, David Everitt and Chris Micciche both had two hits and an RBI.FT Hurricanes-FT ShockersIn a game suspended from June 15 and completed Sunday, the Franklin Shockers held off the Franklin Hurricanes for an 11-9 win.Jordan Knappenberger paced the winners with three hits, two RBIs and a pair of runs while Daniel Keer contributed two hits, one a double, and scored two runs.Brody Hydro chipped in with two hits and a run, and Gabe Wagner and KJ Snerr each finished with a hit and two RBI.For the Hurricanes, Dom Pompa and Max Pompa each collected three hits. Max had a double and knocked in three runs while Dom stole two bases. Brian Fasolino added two hits and knocked in four runs. Alex Steigerwalt also had two hits and scored two runs.FT Shockers-TowamensingDaniel Keer and Cody Scherer combined to pitch a three-hitter Friday as the Franklin Shockers defeated the Towamensing Yankees, 5-3.Keer, the winning pitcher, allowed two hits and struck out five in his four innings of work. Scherer went three frames for the save, giving up just one hit while fanning four.Brody Hydro had two hits and knocked in a run for the Shockers while KJ Snerr had a double and an RBI. Brady Niehoff chipped in with a hit and RBI.For Towamensing, Isaac George had two hits and scored a pair of runs while Jake Taschler had a hit and knocked in two.
