U2 tribute band plays opera house Saturday

Unforgettable Fire performs the music of U2 this Saturday at the Mauch Chunk Opera House, 14 W. Broadway, in Jim Thorpe.

UF lead vocalist, Tony Russo, fills the opera house with his powerful Bono-like voice, delivering stirring renditions of the classic U2 songs, from the beginning to the present.Unforgettable Fire has performed in some of the most prestigious venues on the East Coast, and has built a reputation for shows that are remarkably like being at a live U2 concert. The band doesn't settle for anything less than complete authenticity, from wardrobe to lighting, to recreate the live U2 concert setting. From the rich tone of Adam Clayton's bass, the hypnotic possibilities of Larry Mullen's drum patterns, the roaring guitar style of The Edge, to Bono's iconic vocal power, Unforgettable Fire can do it all.
