Lansford man facing drug charges

A Lansford man was arrested by Summit Hill police on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia after they responded to an unwanted person report at 5:04 p.m. Nov. 7.

Justin Hill, 27, of 366 W. Bertsch St., was taken into custody and transported to the Summit Hill police station where he admitted to police that he had used drugs earlier that day.

Police said they were called to Lansford Court where the complainant advised them they did not want Hill there.

Police said they made contact with Hill, who was upstairs in the residence, and asked him to leave the residence. When he did, Hill had a backpack that police said he consented to having police search, where they found the suspected methamphetamine and other paraphernalia.
