A New Ringgold man faces charges after a fight in Tamaqua on Dec. 16.

Tamaqua police were dispatched to the Pine Street Pub at 12:20 a.m. for a disturbance.At the scene, they spoke with a woman who said she had just been punched by her boyfriend, Frank Boslet, 59, of 215 Ridge Cup Road, New Ringgold.The victim said she was at the bar, looking for Boslet, because he had taken her car without her permission. She reported the vehicle as stolen at 8:55 p.m. Dec. 15.The woman had a split lip and facial bruises.Boslet claimed the woman had hit him between 20 and 30 times, but he had no evident injuries.When asked about the victim's car, he said it was "being worked on" and refused to say where.Boslet was charged with simple assault, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, harassment and disorderly conduct.
