A Lehighton Area School District employee who was given a termination intent notice in June has resigned.
The resignation letter submitted by "employee 293," and a memorandum of understanding with the Lehighton Area Educational Association, was unanimously approved Monday night by the school board.Superintendent Jonathan Cleaver said it remains a personnel issue and the district can't release the name of the employee.The Times News intends to file a Right to Know request for more information.
