Dinkey Memorial Church in East Penn Township, one of the oldest church buildings in Carbon County, is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

To commemorate this special occasion, the congregation has planned a celebration to be held Oct. 5.A worship service will be held at 8:30 a.m., with special music provided by "Lost & Found" starting at 8:15 am."Joyful Noise" will continue the celebration, providing musical entertainment from 10 to 11 a.m.The day will conclude with a luncheon held at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the church social hall.All are welcome to attend this special day and celebrate with the congregation.
