A new report on the proposed building/renovation project in the Lehighton Area School District shows a total estimated project cost of $23,298,050, which will require 41.42 mills in taxes.

Directors were given an update on costs by project architects Wallace and Watson Associates of Allentown.The board scheduled a special meeting for next Monday to vote on the next portion of the development plan and to vote on advertising a public hearing as required by law.
