Lehigh Township Police announced details of the aggressive driving traffic enforcement conducted from Oct. 22 through Nov. 22.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation focused on Route 248 and all intersecting roadways within one mile of 248, in Lehigh Township because of crashes, traffic fatality rates and other aggressive driving data.During this month long enforcement,Lehigh Township conducted numerous patrols and issued 65 citations for speeding, 14 citations for failure to wear a seatbelt, one citation for a child not properly restrained in an appropriate car seat, and one stop sign violation.
