Grounds near the Lehighton High School are the prime study site for one teacher and her student volunteers, who plan to develop it into an environmental study area.
The project involves Beth Daubert, earth science instructor, and five members of the junior class. Part of the overall plan is to invite community members to become involved by memorializing loved ones at the site. The five students who stepped forward to help with the project are Kari Bauchspies, Sean Alboucq, Kelly Neff, Meagan Wentz and Kreg Henritzy.
