State Rep. Keith McCall is doing something that could save a life. The recently re-elected legislator has adopted his uncle, Emmett McCall of Lansford, under the "Adopt A Smoker" program, which is sponsored by the American Cancer Society.

Rep. McCall, who recently kicked the cancer stick habit, has vowed to help his uncle kick the habit during the Great American Smokeout. It will not be an easy task to take cigarettes away from a man who has been puffing away for 31 years.
