Tamaqua Police are investigating an attempted break-in at the concession stand at the North and Middle Ward Playground.

Ray Sell, president of the playground association, called police on Tuesday, after the attempted break-in was discovered.The incident took place sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 5 p.m. Tuesday. Sell pointed out there is no cash or anything of value kept in the stand.Anyone with information may contact police at 570-668-5000.
