State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary and two acts of criminal mischief.

The break-in occurred on the 300 block of Miller Road in Jackson Township. A garage on the property was entered by prying open the door and several items were removed from multiple vehicle engine compartments.The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.Two acts of criminal mischief were reported.Someone damaged a rear screen door on the 100 block of Chatham Hill Road. The incident occurred sometime between Dec. 9 and Saturday.Someone damaged a mailbox on the 200 block of Longwoods Drive, Chestnuthill.The incident was reported on Dec. 7.
