The Pleasant Valley School Board met Thursday, April 10. It approved, 9-0:

• The transfer of Erica Greer as principal of Polk Elementary to principal of PVE effective July 1, 2014. PVE's current principal, Joshua Krebs, has been promoted to PVSD's Mathematics Supervisor, effective July 1, 2014.• The resignations of Rebecca Sobers, substitute teacher as of March 28, 2014; Ethel Oquendo-Acevedo, paraprofessional associate, as of Jan. 31, 2014.• The retirement of Raymond Zeliznik, maintenance technician, April 11, 2014.• The tenure of Danielle Lukashewski and Cindy Siekonic.• The updated 2013-2014 school year calendar with June 13 as the last day of school for students and June 18 the last day of school for teachers.• The 2014-2015 school calendar was approved with Tuesday, Sept. 2, as the first day of school and June 12 as the last day of school.• PVI's and PVHS's requests to conduct summer, fall, winter and spring school for grades seven through 12 for students who have failed previous courses beginning this summer.
