National Fire Prevention Week begins on Sunday, Oct. 6 and runs through Saturday, Oct. 12. Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company is hosting its annual Fire Safety Day on Sunday, Oct. 6 from noon until 3 p.m. at its location along Route 209, Kresgeville.

There will be lots to see and do for kids of all ages as volunteer firefighters demonstrate the workings of the trucks and equipment and there will be displays inside with information to help keep your family and home safe.
