Area residents facing criminal charges

Several area residents were among 52 who were arraigned Monday morning at the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges before District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested jury trials. They were:

Jonathan Joseph Cameron, 24, of 27 Center St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with aggravated indecent assault on a minor, unlawful restraint risking bodily injury, and indecent assault.

David Weyman Selsman, 44. of 197 Faith Drive, New Ringgold, formerly of Deerfield Beach, Fla., charged by Pottsville Patrolman Brian J. Reno, with receiving a Ipad stolen from James McMurtrie, 1745 W. Norwegian St., Pottsville, and pawning the phone valued at $549 at Cash and Trading Post Shop for $225.

Buddy Charles Noel, of 91 Pebble Lane, Tamaqua R.D., formerly of Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey, with turning in a false alarm to 9-1-1 center by reporting a suspicious person in area of 1200 block on W. Norwegian St. which police could not confirm.

Thomas Troy Reabold, 67, of 228 Canal St., Lehighton, faces six counts of theft of scrap metal from Bear Ridge Machine and Fabrication Shop, 10 Eleanor Drive, West Mahanoy Township, estimated value around $20,000. Trooper Edward Lizewski filed four counts of theft and West Mahanoy Township Patrolman Raymond Tonkinson III, two counts between April and July 2013.

Michele D. Seidel, 33, of 236 Valley St., New Philadelphia, charged by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force with delivery of a controlled substance (CS), possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia by making a sale of methamphetamine to a confidential informant (CI) for $100.

Michelle Lee Murphy, 40, of 214 Pine St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with criminal conspiracy, delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of cell phone, and possession last May 2 in a parking lot of a restaurant on N. Greenwood St.. She was also charged by Stanell with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of cell phone, and possession of in the parking lot of a restaurant on N. Greenwood St. last May 23. Murphy is also charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with criminal conspiracy to deal in drugs in the parking lot on N. Greenwood St. last April 17.

Adam Joseph Kasten, 20, of 183 Valley St., New Philadelphia, formerly of Middleport, charged by Patrolman Stanell with criminal conspiracy to transact in illegal drugs last May 2 at a restaurant parking lot on N. Greenwood St. Kasten is also charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with criminal conspiracy - delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, and possession in a sale to a CI of three baggies of heroin for $5 at a parking lot of a restaurant on N. Greenwood St. last April 17.

Chad Kenneth Belsak, 34, of 43 Ridge Road, New Ringgold, charged by Trooper John D Powis with burglary of the property at 217 Chestnut St., Schuylkill Township, on Dec. 28, 2011, and theft of blank checks, jewelry, a jar filled with coins, and clothing.

Christopher J Puksar, 27, of 388 W. Snyder Avenue, Lansford, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with criminal conspiracy to transact illegal drugs and criminal use of cell phone last Dec. 12. Puksar was also charged by Stanell with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of cell phone, and possession last Jan. 8.

Puksar was also charged by Coaldale Patrolman Charles Blesse, with DUI of drugs last May 11 and by Tamaqua Chief Richard Weaver, with delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of cell phone, and possession last Dec. 20.

Daniel J. Brogan, 40, of 40 N. Cleveland St., McAdoo, charged by the state Attorney General's office with insurance fraud by submitting a fraudulent claim for repairs to his home.

Dillon K. Doyle, 19, Hegins, was charged by Trooper Caleb Huber with homicide by vehicle, recklessly endangering another person, limitations on overtaking on the left, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, failing to dive at safe speed, careless driving resulting in death, and reckless driving. The police report claims on May 10, 2012, Doyle was traveling at a speed of 76 miles-per-hour on SR4020 (Deep Creek Road) in Barry Township when he lost control and left the road and struck an embankment and a passenger, Kevin Holmes, was ejected through the roof of the car and was fatally injured.

Kathleen Terese Dennis, 44, Pottsville, formerly of Colorado, was charged by Frackville Sgt. Marvin Livergood, with four counts each of forgery and identity theft and one count with criminal conspiracy two accomplices. The police report charges they forged blank checks with names of Staples Store, Cressona, and Weiner Iron and Metal Company, Pottsville. Dennis is also charged by Schuylkill Haven Officer William Horn, with criminal conspiracy - theft of passing bad check at Boyer's IGA Market to pay for groceries and receiving stolen property.

Cody Thomas Yergert, Pottsville, was charged by Sgt. Livergood with criminal conspiracy with Dennis and also faces four counts each of forgery and identity theft, and one count of possession an instrument of crime on the forgery scheme. Yergert is also charged by Horn with criminal conspiracy with Dennis to pass bogus check at Boyer's Market, theft, and receiving stolen property.

Dionell Jamell Anderson, 35, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Joseph R. Welsh, with two counts each of criminal conspiracy, burglary, theft, and receiving properties stolen from homes at 1308 Howard Avenue and 200 N. George St., and one count of possession of an instrument of crime.

Elizabeth Nojunas-Cavallo, Nanticoke, formerly of Mahanoy City, charged by the state's Inspector General's Office with violation of the public welfare code by receiving $2,243.85 in subsidized child care benefits when not entitled.

Pauline H. Pytak, 53, Shenandoah, charged by New Castle Township Patrolman Walter A. Knepper, with retail theft of merchandise valued at $425.54 from Sears Store in the Schuylkill Mall.

Justyn Michael Bensinger, Ashland, charged by Saint Clair Patrolman Frank DiMarco, with two counts each of corruption of minors and selling or furnishing alcohol beverages to minors.

John J. Magdeburg, Ashland, charged by Ashland Patrolman Theodore Buriak Jr., with burglary and criminal trespass.

Joseph Anthony Arrigo, 19, Frackville, charged by Frackville Patrolman Anthony Kankowski, with default in appearance at the Central Booking Office in the courthouse to be fingerprinted as ordered by District Justice Christine Hale, Frackville.

Joseph Anthony Arrigo, 19, Frackville, charged by Frackville Cpl. Christopher Hand, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

William Smith, 31, Ashland, charged by Ashland Patrolman Mark O'Hearn, with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

Meridith Lynne Michaels, 43, Williamstown, charged by Trooper Peter F. Mohn, with three counts of DUI of drugs, two counts each of possession of a CS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count each of possession a small amount of marijuana, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, careless driving, failing to drive at safe speed, failing to wear a seat belt, and driving with an open can of alcohol beverage in his vehicle when stopped on SR209 in Frailey Township.

Robert Francis Seigel, 59, Mahanoy City, charged by Mahanoy Township Officer Brandon Alexander, with DUI of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and stop sign violation on Park Place Road.

Tony Eugene Germanoro, 32, Philadelphia, charged by Shenandoah Patrolman Michael O'Neill, with DUI of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and failing to carry car insurance.

Christopher Reedy, 26, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Paul R. Olson, with theft of a car belonging to Kathleen Smith, unauthorized use of a vehicle belonging to someone else, and disorderly conduct. Reedy was also charged by Rush Township Patrolman Bradley Hess, with two counts of retail theft from Wal-Mart Store in Hometown, a video surveillance system valued at $475.94, and a second television set valued at $686.85; and by Rush Sgt. Duane Frederick, with retail theft of a third television set value at $798, also from Wal-Mart.

Lynne Marie Salabsky, 27, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman John H. Mohl, with altering a car license plate and abandoning a vehicle on the highway in the 200 block of Koch Alley.

Ronald James Harper, 26, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Allyn Shaun Zarcufsky, 67, Pottsville, charged by Patrolman Yourey with DUI of drugs, possession of a CS, and failing to have general lighting requirements as rear light system was not operable.

April Marie Yurkonis, 34, Frackville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Charles B. Webber, with DUI of alcohol, and failing to activate car lights during required period.

Unique Tyair Myers, 25, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Brian Reno, with criminal conspiracy - robbery, theft of cell phone belonging to Jamie Dietrich, 200 Downing St.; receiving stolen property, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person by brandishing a handgun, and criminal mischief.

Timothy Michael Ebert, 19, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charles James Wilson, 30, Ashland, charged by Ashland Patrolman Thomas Weaver, with loitering and prowling at night.

Christopher Jason Whalen, 33, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Matthew R. Cavallo, with person not to possess or use a firearm, possession of a prohibitive weapon (sawed-off shotgun), and resisting arrest.

Elizabeth Lisa Stine, 52, Pottsville, charged by Minersville Patrolman Jason Alan Klouser, with DUI of alcohol, and careless driving.

Jamie Paul Robbins, 33, Port Carbon, charged by Saint Clair Patrolman Joseph J. Leskin, five counts of retail theft from Wal-Mart Store in Saint Clair, a television set valued at $796, an air mattress valued at $99, a juicer valued at $99, eight cases of diapers valued at $199.52, and electronic equipment and tool kit valued at $534.72.

Andrew Jacob Kovalcik, 29, Frackville, charged by Frackville Patrolman Creighton Byron, with two counts each of simple assault, and recklessly endangering police officers, and one count each of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief by damaging clothing and an IPhone, and public drunkenness.

Brian Lee Dietrick, 42, Ashland, charged by Shenandoah Patrolman Mark O'Hearn, with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief to property.

Robert R. Hester, 34, Ashland, charged by Ashland Chief Adam Bernodin Jr., with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shawn Edward Spotts, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Det. Steven G. Guers, with sexual abuse of children, indecent assault of person under 13 years of age, and indecent exposure.

Darryl Dean Dorsey, 48, Tower City, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Michael P. Stank, with aggravated assault on a police officer, institutional vandalism of patrol car, simple assault, and disorderly conduct.

Lindsay Anne Brown, 30, also known as Lindsay Redanauer, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman John Mohl, with theft of $200 in cash from Clarissa Ingram, 210 Arch St., and receiving stolen property.

Tyler Jonathan Smith, 27, Mahanoy City, charged by Trooper Michael Van Buskirk with simple assault on May Byrne at 89 Park Place Road, Mahanoy Township.

Robert Dale Rose, 54, Minersville, charged by Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey R. Bowers, with two counts each of intimidation of a witness, terroristic threats and harassment, three counts of simple assault, and one count of possession of an instrument of crime.

Kerriane Patricia Hoffman, 27, Pottsville, charged by Trooper Mark W. Knock with retail theft electronic equipment valued at $445.55 from Radio Shack, Fairlane Village Mall, Pottsville, criminal conspiracy, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, and pawned in Cash and Trading Post Store, Pottsville, for $95.

Richard Lee Lerch, 52, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Richard J. Pugh, with three counts of arson at the apartment at 629 N. Second St., and one count each of risking catastrophe, dangerous burning, and disorderly conduct.

Michael Edward Dillman, 31, Frackville, charged by Frackville Sgt. Marvin Leroy Livergood, with possession of a CS and drug paraphernalia at his home. He was also charged by West Mahanoy Township Patrolman Raymond Joseph Tonkinson III, with two counts of possession of a CS, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia on S. Wylam St.

Amanda Lynn Stromboulis, 23, Hegins, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Grant Yoder, with falsifying a drug free urine sample to her probation officer.

Lindsey Ann Draine, 33, Pottsville charged by Pottsville Patrolman Brian J. Reno, with theft of Ipad belonging to James McCartie, 1745 W. Norwegian St.

Phillip James Gibble, 44, Saint Clair, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Renee Rose Galle, with burglary of Yuengling's Creamery Building, theft of 20 feet of copper wire valued at $50, receiving stolen property, and possession of an instrument of crime.
