State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between midnight Sept. 14 and midnight Sept. 25 at a hunting cabin located in Weisenberg Township.

The victim is James Walter Schaffer, 81, of Northampton.He told police someone entered the cabin by force, using a generic hammer with a wooden handle, breaking the deadbolt off the door and leaving the hammer inside the screen outside the northeast door.The cabin is located at 8647 Eidelweiss Road in the township.
